Dodge Challenger Hellcat Impresses Europe

The European car market is a little different than what we’re used to here in the United States. For the most part, Europeans tend to buy higher-end models, like Porsche and high tier BMWs as opposed to American muscle. Exotic cars like Lamborghini and Ferrari are rare in the States but common in Europe. Most of the reasoning behind the lack of muscle on European roadways has to do with availability. Still, you can imagine what happened when a 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat turned up at a Vmax 200 event. Common attendees include McLaren, Ferrari, and Lamborghini so you can imagine the scoffs when this piece of American muscle showed … Continue reading

Now we have a number on how many more Hellcats they’ll produce after they complete the current orders. If you haven’t placed an order for a Hellcat model yet and want to, you better have your four leafed clover, shamrock, and lucky underwear on. Dodge has announced they’re only going to make 1,000 more Hellcats. Engine production, the power behind the Hellcat name, is limited and … Continue reading

The Dodge Spirit Lives On in the New 2015 Dodge Challenger

The Dodge brothers were quite a pair. A new ad gives us a colorful, albeit fudged, image of who these guys were in their time. First of all, they were the kind of boys who made their own bicycles. John Dodge held office. Horace Dodge dug the orchestra. They raced yachts. “Their lives were big,” we are told. Most importantly, they infused their vehicles with this spirit of grandeur. Though much has changed in a hundred years, that original spark has not been lost. The Dodge spirit lives on in the 2015 Challenger. Chrysler Chief Marketing Officer Olivier Francois said, “Dodge has a very specific DNA, a bloodline that traces … Continue reading
